End of Life
Paper and paperboard service items are commonly accepted in many composting systems when they do not contain linings and are uncoated. Our kraft range is manufactured without linings or coatings and independent laboratory testing confirms no intentionally added PFAS, with total fluorine levels below established method detection limits of ≤50 ppm.
It’s important to note that not all paper-based service items on the market meet these criteria. Coatings and chemical treatments can affect both composting suitability and contamination risk. End-of-life outcomes depend on local acceptance criteria, and we recommend confirming requirements with local composting or collection providers.
